After receiving her Master of Social Work from New York University, Gina became a licensed clinical social worker in New York and New Jersey. She has a passion for working with children and adolescents and has previously provided mental health services within a school environment, nonprofit organization, and private practice in the Hudson Valley. Gina has seen professionally and personally how stress and trauma experienced at a young age can impact development, and she strives to help kids and teens manage the negative effects of adversity and develop lifelong coping skills.
Some of Gina’s specialty areas include anxiety, cancer and grief and bereavement. She is currently working towards a certificate in therapeutic writing, holds a provisional certificate in school social work, and participated in a trauma-informed creative arts therapy program. Gina incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness techniques, and expressive arts when thought to be of benefit. She practices from a strengths-based approach.
Gina is a proud toddler mom to her son and is very excited to be a part of Hamptons Mindful Youth. She looks forward to working with you!
