Rates
Dr. Maria works closely with team of therapists and collaborates in establishing treatment goals, interventions and is available to answer any more specialized questions- for instance those relating to Special Education in the school system. Our team utilizes the same procedures and extensive library of resources and programs. Because of this we are able to provide consistent, high-quality services.
*Initial session for individual therapy incurs a one time additional fee of $160 and covers review of records, rating scales and collaboration with school and/or other providers.

Individual Therapy or Parent Session with Senior Therapist ($260 per 45 min)
These sessions will target treatment goals determined during the initial intake evaluation. Following each session parents receive a follow-up summary of topics covered/ skills taught, home practice assigned and ways they can continue to help their child generalize these skills. Parents are also encouraged to schedule parent sessions with the child’s therapist as needed. (These parent sessions are billed at the same rate as individual therapy).

Continued Parent Consultations or Individual Therapy with Dr. Maria ($320 per 45 min)
These sessions will target recommendations generated during assessment and parent/client goals. These range from helping parents work towards creating a home which promotes comprehensive/integrative/ holistic wellbeing through a lifestyle medicine and positive psychology approach, understanding and supporting executive functioning in the home, and working to create a positive behavior support plan individualized to unique family needs and dynamics.

Intensives with Dr. Maria / Also Psychiatric Evaluation/ Determination of Diagnosis ($1400)
Intensives are a great way to get the answers you are looking for in a short period of time. They include a 90 minutes intake session, followed by targeted rating scales, collaboration with other providers and/or school, and generating tailored recommendations that are then reviewed during a follow up 90 min informing session and sent electronically. A diagnosis letter (when applicable) is included and more detailed assessment summaries can be provided at an additional charge. These sessions also offer the opportunity to begin building rapport and trust in the therapeutic relationship if the child or parent(s) decide to purse further sessions in the future. Many parents and children will often report gaining valuable insight and understanding of themselves during this process.
What about insurance, payment and cancellations?
Insurance:
Hamptons Mindful Youth does not accept insurance. Through private pay clients are afforded a higher level of privacy and control over their treatment as insurance companies often require detailed documentation of the therapeutic process, including a diagnosis, and often limit the number and type of therapy sessions. However, for clients who prefer to utilize their insurance there is the possibility of reimbursement with Out Of Network benefits. Please contact us for more information.
We are dedicated to supporting children in need and hold discount spots available for families experiencing financial hardship.
Payment:
We accept credit card payments and Venmo. Payment is due at time of service.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
